My First Experience at Pulse Agency Liverpool Open Auditions
Georgina NolandOn Thursday 30th July 2026 at 10:00am, I travelled to Pulse Agency Liverpool to attend one of their open modelling auditions. It was something I'd been looking forward to for a while and, after hearing so many positive things about the agency and the opportunities they offer, I decided it was the perfect time to take that first step.
The agency is based at 79 Sefton Street, Liverpool, inside a beautifully converted industrial building overlooking the waterfront. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere felt relaxed, professional and welcoming. Everyone I met was friendly and approachable which immediately settled any nerves.

Why I Chose Pulse Agency
As I've started building my portfolio and working towards a career in commercial modelling, content creation and UGC (User Generated Content), I wanted to introduce myself to an agency that has an excellent reputation within the industry.
Pulse has been representing models, influencers, brand ambassadors and creative talent for over two decades and works with a wide range of well known brands, events and marketing campaigns throughout the UK and internationally. Their focus isn't just traditional modelling. They also work across hospitality, events, promotional campaigns, creative productions and influencer marketing, making them an agency that fits exactly the direction I'd like my career to take.
The Open Audition
After checking in, I completed a registration form before waiting to be called. The process itself was relaxed and straightforward. It gave me the opportunity to introduce myself, discuss my interests and explain the areas I'd like to work in. Rather than feeling intimidating, the audition felt like the beginning of a conversation about where I could fit within the industry.
I also enjoyed seeing other aspiring models attending the casting. Everyone came from different backgrounds with different looks and personalities, which really highlighted how diverse the modelling industry has become.
Looking Around the Studio
One of the highlights of the morning was seeing behind the scenes. There were professional photography studios, lighting setups and white infinity backdrops being used for portfolio photography while other applicants completed their registrations and spoke with members of the Pulse team. Watching everything happen around me was inspiring and made me even more excited about where this journey could lead.
Taking the Next Step
Whether anything comes from this audition or not, I'm genuinely pleased that I went.
Building a career as a model or content creator isn't something that happens overnight. It starts by putting yourself out there, gaining experience, meeting industry professionals and continually building your portfolio.
Every audition is an opportunity to learn, improve and become more confident. As I continue developing my modelling portfolio and growing as a UGC Creator, I'll be sharing more of these experiences here on my blog, including behind the scenes content, professional photoshoots, collaborations and everything I learn along the way. If you're considering applying yourself, I'd definitely recommend taking a look at Pulse Agency and keeping an eye out for future recruitment days and open castings.
